    Robert Atterton is a strategist in building and scaling high-performing Independent Medical Evaluation (IME) businesses, with more than 30 years of experience across the healthcare, insurance, and medical-legal sectors.

    As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rehabilitative Ergonomics Inc. (REI), he has established the firm as a premier, boutique provider of specialized IME and healthcare assessment services across Canada. His work is defined by a disciplined approach to aligning clinical expertise with operational precision - consistently delivering timely, objective, and defensible medical opinions in complex and high-stakes matters.

    With 15+ years of leadership in the IME industry, Lily De Sousa is a results-driven operations and business development professional at REI. She is known for building strategic networks, managing complex scheduling across Canada, and bringing creative, solutions-focused thinking to every challenge she takes on.

    REI is founded.

    Founded in Toronto, Ontario with a vision to be the ultimate provider in comprehensive Healthcare Management Solutions.

    1999

    Expanded operations.

    Expanded operations by opening offices throughout Ontario from Ottawa to London, including Northern Ontario.

    1999

    Launched the Flying Doctor Program.

    Brought services to our Halifax office and extended our national reach serving all of Atlantic Canada.

    2001

    Expanded into Western Canada.
